Jessica's Story

Jessica founded Sylk Mane Studios with a quiet conviction: that beautiful hair should never come at the cost of hair health, and that the salon experience should feel as intentional as the colour itself.

Throughout her career, she noticed something: clients were often receiving more services than their hair actually needed, without enough consideration for how those services aligned with their real life, their genuine goals, or their honest maintenance capacity. She knew there had to be a better way.

Sylk Mane was born from this belief. It's built on the philosophy that exceptional colour is never about a single appointment. Instead, every service forms part of a thoughtfully personalised plan, one that honours the client's vision whilst respecting their hair's health, their lifestyle, and how often they genuinely want to return. This is colour as a sustained partnership, not a transaction.

Equally important to Jessica was transforming the experience itself. She moved away from shared servicing and rushed appointments, instead creating something altogether different: a calm, one-on-one sanctuary where clients are given the time, attention and genuine understanding they deserve. Here, luxury is found in the details, in the listening, the consultation, the unhurried approach.

As Founder and Lead Stylist, Jessica continues to shape the creative direction and client experience whilst mentoring and developing Sylk Mane's emerging team. Her vision is straightforward: to create an elevated salon experience where every service has a purpose, expertise removes worry, and clients leave with colour that works beautifully in their real life, today and for months to come.
